All Our Ducklings Stage II

On Sunday, January 18th, we went to Keila with the children for the second stage of the All Our Ducklings competition series.

As usual, the younger children, those born in 2017-2018, started the competition day. This time, they competed for our club. Hanna Kerge, Mattias Aas and Mattias Stamm. Hanna swam 50m crawl and 25m butterfly, in the 50m crawl Hanna set a new personal record with a time of 58.54 and when she tried butterfly for the first time, the 25m result was 27.43. Mattias A. swam 50m crawl and 50m backstroke, the crawl swam with a time of 1:00.06, which this time was slightly short of her personal record. In the 50m backstroke, the time was 1:06.98. Mattias S. swam 50m crawl with a new personal record of 43.77 and the 50m backstroke came in with a time of 49.40, which earned Mattias finished second on the podium. 

In the older age group (born in 2015-2016), swimmers Sofia Han, Gloria Kirs, Olivia Rämmal, Sofia Nicoletta Rendina, Anni Kaarde, Iiris Rammo and the boys Björn-Henry Adamson and Kaspar Haljak. Several young swimmers also decided to participate in the butterfly distance for the first time and set new records. Sofia swam the 50m backstroke with a time of 50.67 and the 50m butterfly with a time of 1:00,00, Gloria swam the 50m crawl with a time of 43,66 and the 50m backstroke with a new strong record of 47,12, Olivia swam the 50m crawl with a time of 53,17 and the 50m backstroke with a time of 1:00.55, Sofia Nicoletta swam the 50m crawl with a time of 45.93 and the 50m butterfly with a time of 58.48, Anni swam the 50m crawl with a new personal record of 33.94 and thus earned fourth place, Anni swam the 50m butterfly with a time of 47,64. In the 2016 year of birth classification, Iiris swam the 50m crawl with a time of 50.06 and the 50m backstroke with a time of 55,78. Among the boys, Björn-Henry swam the 50m crawl with a time of 45.42 and the 50m butterfly with a time of 56,48, Kaspar swam the 50m crawl with a time of 53.98 and the 50m butterfly with a time of 1:05.24.
